Audience

The major theme in this task was audience and how we could connect to them and produce a product which would satisfy them and create a piece of art which followed the conventions of that audience.
Most Hip-Hop videos follow certain conventions:

• a variety of editing
•  a variety of camera shots 
• close ups
• props and costumes

In our digipak, poster and music video we tried to convey these conventions and keep them constant in our work. Within my digipak i used a photo of our artist which showed him with a backpack, stylish clothes. We portrayed our artist as a hipster who was a Hip-Hop and it was very easy as the artist was already part of that audience himself. Looking back at our work i think we have done a very good job at trying to reach our audience.
